Stan’s Heating has been around for over 26 years. Stan and Anona Shupe started Stan’s Heating and Gas Appliance Service, Inc. in October of 1981. When they first started, Stan’s was managed out of their home. Business got so busy that they had to expand their shop. In 1996, they bought a shop with an office. We are still located at this same shop. Through a mutual friend Stan and Anona were introduced to Brad and Megan Cook in the spring of 2003. By July Brad was working with Stan in the field and in August Megan was working with Anona in the office. In October of 2003, Brad and Megan bought Stan’s Heating. |

Owner/Sales Consultant Brad Cook Brad Cook moved to Ontario in 1996. He attended Ontario High School for 2 years and graduated in 1998. During Brad’s senior year of high school he worked at Northern Mechanical in Ontario. Brad was taught how to measure, design, and fabricate duct work. He enjoyed it and excelled quickly becoming Shop Forman during the day and attending BSU mechanical classes in the evenings. In 2000, Brad started at Zimmerman’s in Nyssa as Shop Forman. After working for a year and a half, Zimmerman’s had to close their doors due to an illness in the family. Brad was referred to Heating Equipment in Caldwell. Here, he was Shop Forman and also had his own install crew. In July of 2003, he went to work with Stan with the intent of buying Stan’s Heating from Stan and Anona. In October of 2003 he did just that! |

Owner/Office Manager Megan Cook Megan Cook was born and raised in Ontario. She graduated from Ontario High School in 2000. In the summer of 2000, she started taking classes full time from Treasure Valley Community College. Megan graduated from TVCC in 2002 with Associates in Business Management. While going to school, Megan worked at Malheur Federal Credit Union where she became Vault Teller. In August of 2003, she left MFCU to train under Anona Shupe. In October, she and Brad became business partners and bought Stan’s Heating. |

Receptionist Holly Tarvin Holly Tarvin started working for Stan’s Heating in 2005. Holly is the sister of Stan’s Heating co-owner Brad Cook. Holly is also the wife of the service manager (Brandon Tarvin) at Stan’s Heating. She is Certified in Manuel J Load Calculations and enjoys answering the phone and working with customers. |

Service Technician/ Parts Technician/ Precision Tune-up Specialist Brandon Tarvin Brandon Tarvin has been with Stan’s Heating since 2004. Attended West Coast Training in Portland Oregon in 1996 and became certified in HVACR. He is also a NATE certified technician and certified in Evolution systems. Brandon has worked in the HVAC field since 1997. |

Service Technician John Holst John Holst has been with Stan’s Heating since 2011. John has worked in the HVAC field for over 10 years. He resides in the Treasure Valley. |

Installer Shane Van Amringe Shane Van Amringe has been with Stan’s Heating since 2010. Shane has worked in the HVAC field for 20 years. He has lived in the treasure valley all of his life. |

Installer Broc Rinkel Broc Rinkel has been with Stan’s Heating since 2011. He resides in the Treasure Valley. |
